Communication: Dial-up Network

Save Dial-Up password

If you can't save your dial up password because it's grayed out, then navigate to HKEY_LOCAL-MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Network].

DisablePwdCaching must be set to 0 (rather than 1).

I do not have Network in my Windows XP registry.

Dial-Up Network log file (9x)

My Computer>Dial-Up Networking> {right-click a connection}>Properties>Server Type.
Check the box Record a log file for this connection. The log file is in c:\windows\ppplog.txt.
